St. Thomas Sunday services at St. Andrew
Ukrainian Orthodox Church were held with a Panachyda (memorial service)
being celebrated at the Cross of St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox
Cemetery. Prayers were offered for Metroplitan Vasyl Lypkiwskyj, Patriarch Mstyslav,
Patriarch Volodymyr, all of those perished during the Genocidal Famine
in Ukraine in 1932-33, those who perished during the disaster at
Chernobyl, Ukraine, for all of the Bishops, Clergy and faithful who gave
their lives in the fight for a free and independent Ukraine and
Ukrainian Orthodox Church, all of the parishioners of St. Andrew
Ukrainian Orthodox Church who have left us and a special petition
for The President of Poland and those members of the Polish
administration who perished in a plane crash.
